Truly international curricula in Groningen
14 sep 2017

Since April 2013, the University of Groningen has been running an “International Classroom” project[1] to make degree programmes truly international and use the diversity of an international classroom as a resource, with adequate support for both students and staff.

By November 2014, Groningen has realized a new International Bachelor’s in Medicine, a new Master’s in Environmental and Infrastructure Planning, and new Bachelor’s in Computing Science and in Industrial Engineering & Management Science. All these new degree programmes have been redesigned from scratch, taking every aspect (content, work forms, students, staff, support, infrastructure) and internationalizing these in shape and contribution to the overall outcome of the degree programme.

The reports of the pilot projects for the programmes can be found here.
