Dentistry is a medical specialty, in which theoretical knowledge, communication and motor skills are essential for good professional practice. With the help of the Simodont and other technologies I want to  investigate which type of learning intervention (for example, explicit or implicit, variable or flawless) is most effective for which type of student (for example, depending on working memory capacity) to develop motor skills. Answering this question yields three benefits: 1) further development of reliable and valid tests for the skills; 2) evaluation of effective learning interventions in skills education related to individual differences. 3) Contribute to the scientific literature on learning motor skills in dentistry.
